You can read Regina’s reviews of the first two novels  The Collector and The Liberator here. 🙂 Working for the devil turns you into something unfixable. It makes you a demon, forevermore. It teaches you to feel anger before anything else, and to fight dirty for those things you believe yours. But I don’ t work for the devil anymore. I work for the good guys, even if I don’ t act like one. My job now is to protect my girlfriend from my former boss, and to rescue my friend from hell. No, I don’ t work for the devil any longer. But I am still the man he made me. I am still angry, and volatile, and dangerous. I don’ t like the things he’ s done, and I’ m not about to sit back quietly. After all, he taught me better than that. He loved me with the kindness of a serrated blade, and fed me from a spoon dipped in terror. He made me into a monster. Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley Release Blitz REVIEW & TWO GIVEAWAYS!

Excerpt Hop came out of the bathroom to see Lanie on her feet on the other side of the bed, panties on, hands twisted behind her back putting her bra on. Again. He didn’ t say a word. He prowled to her, reached out an arm the second he was close, yanked her to him and fell to his back in the bed, taking her down with him. “Hop—” she started, pushing her weight against his arms, but he slid her off him then wasted no time rolling over her and pinning her to his bed. “Sleep,” he ordered when he caught her eyes in the weak dawn. “After rest, I’ ll get coffee, we’ ll juice up, then round four.” She blinked and breathed, “Four?” “Got lots more I want to do to you,” he informed her and watched her eyes go soft, sexier, then her teeth came out to graze her lush lower lip, also fucking sexy, and her arms slid around him. But she asked, “What about Tack and Ty-Ty?” “I’ ll make sure the coast is clear,” he told her. “But they’ ll see my car,” she told him. “I’ ll move it,” he offered. Her hand slid up his back, around his shoulder, and then to his neck where her thumb moved to stroke him. Her touch was light but, fuck, it felt good. He’ d never had a woman touch him in an unconscious way like that, just a touch, a stroke, giving something […]

Buy Now: Amazon | B&N | iTunes To say that Sophie Bloom is at the top of her game with one only week until spring equinox and the final showdown with Zeus and Hades would be, well, lying. The Goddess of Spring feels more like the Goddess of Bzz Thanks For Playing than the savior of humanity. And could her relationships be any more messed up? Good times. Sophie is convinced that things can’ t get any worse than crawling back to her mother Demeter and begging for help. But she’ s about to find out how very wrong she is. It’ s a race against time for Sophie to implement the big battle strategy in the YA romantic comedy/Greek mythology finale My Life From Hell. Love meets comedy with a whole lot of sass in book three of this teen fantasy romance series. Save herself; save the world. Humanity may be screwed. Excerpt: In the center of the patio, a dark wood table had been laid out, laden with yumtastic Greek tapas like pita wedges, pink creamy taramasalata, triangles of spanakopita, and a heart attack heaven of saganaki–fried cheese. Zeus and Hades sat there munching in silence. Not even the tense “One wrong move and there’ s gonna be a hurting” silence you would have expected from two powerful foes who despised each other. Nah. More like “Eh, it’ s […]

Jennifer L. Armentrout does Twitter Fiction + Giveaway!

One of our favorite authors, Jennifer L. Armentrout, took part of this year’s Twitter Fiction Festival (http://twitterfictionfestival.com/). With her, she brought a short story called “The Proposal” featuring one of our favorite couples… And it was tweeted 140 characters at a time. I almost missed out on reading The Proposal! Ironically, I caught the tail end of it and read the story on my iPhone sitting in the dressing room while my mother tried on dresses for my brother’s upcoming WEDDING.  So, I think me reading this story in the middle of wedding stuff was appropriate. Ha! If you did miss it, well look no further because I’m bringing it to you via screencaps of the tweets in chronological order. 😉 Thanks to Jennifer L. Armentrout for giving us the lovely story of one of my favorite bookish couples ever. I can never get enough of Cam and Avery and I’m so glad that you shared their special moment with us!     Giveaway Open to international entries as long as The Book Depository ships to your country! Erin’s Review First off, This review needs a song… [sc_embed_player fileurl=”http://mereadalot.net/muzak/06%20Paradise%20City.mp3″] <- Click  the play button for this review’s theme song. (Paradise City by Guns N Roses)   Second…one of the best characters in this book: BAMBI. That’s all I’m gonna say..I’ll let you meet Bambi on your own. 😉 Jennifer L. Armentrout never fails when bringing us a swoony boy..and this book is no exception..In fact, she gave us TWO SWOONY BOYS! We’ve got Zayne ,who is a warden (aka Gargoyle) and Roth, who is a demon. Our female MC in this book is Layla. Layla is half-warden, half-demon. She was raised by the Wardens and because of that she feels insecure around them. She may be half-warden, but she doesn’t have the capabilities they possess, so she feels…inconsequential? around them.. Yeah, something like that. She does have the ability to “tag” demons, which she uses to help the Wardens, who hunt at night, identify them. Which in turn makes their job a bit easier..and makes Layla feel as though she’s doing something positive. Due to her being half-demon, she has the ability to suck the soul right out of someone..literally. Because of that whole soul-sucking thing, she’ll never be able to have the one boy she wants..Zayne, or anyone else for that matter.. That all changes when she meets Roth. Roth is a demon, he has no soul, so his lips are free game to Layla..and boy does she take advantage of that..Or maybe it’s Roth that takes advantage of […]
