The highly anticipated complete novel of The Professional—the first installment in #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole' s scorching Game Maker series, an erotica collection that has readers asking: How hot is too hot?

He makes the rules…

Mafiya enforcer Aleksei “The Siberian” Sevastyan' s loyalty to his boss knows no bounds, until he meets the boss' s long-lost daughter, a curvy, feisty redhead who haunts his mind and heats his blood like no other. Ordered to protect her, Aleksei will do anything to possess her as well—on his own wicked terms.

Rules are made to be broken…

Grad student Natalie Porter had barely recovered from her first sight of the dark and breathtaking Sevastyan before the professional enforcer whisks her away to Russia, thrusting her into a world of extreme wealth and wanton pleasures. Every day under his protection leads her deeper under his masterful spell.

Are you ready to play?

Yet all is not as it seems. To remove Natalie from an enemy' s reach, Sevastyan spirits her into hiding. From an opulent palace in Russia to the decadent playgrounds of the mega-wealthy in Paris, the two lovers will discover that even their darkest—and most forbidden—fantasies can come true…

I’ve read a lot of not-so-good reviews for this book but I don’t care…. This book was SMOKIN’ HOT and very entertaining. It’s giving me hot flashes just remembering back to when I read it last month. Holy hell. Aleksei “The Siberian” Sevastyan puts Christian Grey and his Red Room to shame.

Grad Student, Natalie Porter, and her search to find out about her Birth Parents leads her in to the Russian Mafiya. All The While, catching the eye of the one sent to protect her, Aleksei Sevastyan. They’re drawn to one another and can’t seem to stay away from each other for too long.

I loved the characters in this book. Sevastyan made me swoon like I’ve never swooned before and Natalie just straight-up entertained me. I thought she was a hilarious and she had a serious fascination with kink that she was discovering about herself in this book. The smexy times between Sevastyan and Natalie will overheat your reading apparatus or cause your paperback to catch fire…that’s how smoking hot their chemistry is.
We also can’t forget about Natalie’s best friend, Jess, who I think made Natalie even more of an interesting character. The two of them together made for an entertaining friendship.

If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey, you’ll LOVE this book even more. It’ll make you want to run out and book a one-way ticket to Russia or look to see if there’s such thing as Russian mail order HUSBANDS. YUM.

Some of my favorite quotes from the book:

Insight: if a guy I had sex with ever carved a notch into his bedpost, I’d tell him to carve one into mine too- and then to go make me a fucking sammich.

“I can’t help it that this is the Bermuda Triangle,” she (Jess) pointed at her crotch, “when guys venture there, they tend to stay.”
“Oh, I thought you called it that because it’s sucked in lots of seamen.”

“When a woman singles me out”- he leaned down to murmur at my ear- “it’s because she wants to get fucked. She looks at the scars and tattoos and knows she’ll get fucked hard”
I gasped, melting for him.
“is that what you wanted from me, Natalya”?”

How the hell do you call Russian from Greece? It’s like trying to figure out rela-fucking-tivity. And still, I gave it several shots. Of Ouzo. Seriously, you have no idea how much your situation is affecting me. I’ve been stress-eating my way across Greece.” (Jess)
“You don’t stress-eat..” (Natalie)
“Cock, Natalie. I was stress-eating cock. There you made me say it, happy now?” (Jess)
“Opa!” (Natalie)
“Twat.” (Jess)

Oh man, there’s so many things in this book that made me LOL. I want to share them all, but I’ll be nice and leave the rest there so that you can go and discover them yourself. 🙂 Enjoy!

  1. They also refer to Greek words? Wow! Honored to know! By the way Ouzo is a really good traditional drink. Put together olives, fish and company and you have it all! <3

    Thank you for the review!
